Information on MND

Motor Neurone Disease is a devastating condition, which changes forever the lives of those who are affected by it. There are some 1400 people in Australia who have a diagnosis of MND at any given time, with almost 300 in Queensland.

Researchers still don't know what causes MND and nor do they have a cure to treat the condition. With limited government funding and a high reliance on community support this presents a very challenging situation to improve the outcomes for people with MND.

The support shown already towards this project, with the sale of 1500 copies, has been wonderful, and has resulted in a significant financial gift for research into this dreadful illness. Be part of this community response and help this cause further; buy a copy of Marie's Kitchen cook book.
