Information on MND

Motor Neurone Disease is a devastating condition, which changes forever the lives of those who are affected by it. There are some 1400 people in Australia who have a diagnosis of MND at any given time, with almost 300 in Queensland.

Researchers still don't know what causes MND and nor do they have a cure to treat the condition. With limited government funding and a high reliance on community support this presents a very challenging situation to improve the outcomes for people with MND.

The support shown towards this project, with the sale of 3000 copies, has been wonderful, and has resulted in a significant financial gift for research into this dreadful illness.
